Imphal, Sept 28: Sirti Upa Puh (SUR) (Monsang Tribe Union) today officially released 2nd revised edition of the Union’s Constitution officially during its 5th general assembly held today at SUR community hall Japhao in Chandel.
The Constitution was released officially by Th. Oliver Monsang, Advisor of SUR.
The 2nd revised edition of SUR constitution was printed into book from during the leadership of Mr. Ng. Benithan, President SUR under the Revised Constitution Committee headed by Convenor Ng. Vincent, Chairman, Monsang Language and Literature Society (MLLS).
The first SUR Constitution was edited during the leadership of late Upa Ng. Manglemchao Monsang as president and late Upa Ts. Phamjir Monsang as General Secretary of Monsang Tribe Union in 1980.
