MODIfied Northeast India strongly condemns the Thangal Bazar blast in which two persons were killed and injuring four others on 15th December 2014. The Initiative holds a two minute silence for the innocent victims to rest in peace.
Reacting strongly against the failure of Congress government in maintaining law and order in the State, particularly in the city, the Initiative have written a letter to Union Home Minister and the Prime Minister Office for stringent action in this regard.
The Sunday blast reveals many loopholes of the present government. The unfortunate incident took place just 200 meters way from the City Police Station, Imphal West in broad day light where security personals were heavily posted.
When Crores of public money was spent on installation of CCTV by the government, why the two CCTV cameras installed right in front of the blast site could not record the incident?
Naorem Mohen, Founder of MODIfied Northeast India questioned the remarks of State Home Minister saying there was no loophole on part of security measure in and around the blast site. It is very unfortunate for the government to point every such incident towards insurgency movement, rather than finding the loopholes and find preventive security measures so that such terror incident never happens in the future.
MODIfied Northeast India is working hard to win confidence of the Central Ministry and helps in removing the disturbed area status, thereby bringing peace and normalcy for development of the State.
The Social Initiative to support Prime Minister of India is requesting every individual or groups involved in the bomb blast in Thangal Bazar to stop terrorizing the people on humanitarian grounds. And the State Government should also work sincerely for the people in delivering the “Achhe Din” of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
