Rebel group, Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) said that the RN Ravi’s proposal for a Territorial Council Model can never be solution to the yearlong atrocities and harassment under the colonial rule.
In a statement of the outfit signed by its Assistant Secretary , Rex Kashung , the rebel group said that the concept of Territorial Council will only create enmity among the various community of the region.
The bloods of Nagas who had sacrificed for the freedom of the nation cannot be compromised with the Territorial Council, the statement added. It further said that the atrocities and harassment being committed to the people of the region can only be stopped after driving out the colonial ruler from the region.
The MNRF appeals to stop all ethnic community to stop playing identity politics and establishment of ethno Nationalism. The rebel group calls on all ethnic community to stand together to drive out the colonial force from the region.
