MMWO observes 5th Foundation Day

Manipur Muslim Welfare Organization (MMWO) observed its 5th Foundation Day today.
Prof Nejamuddin, CEO, WAQF Board, Manipur, Fundreimayum Abdullah Pathan, President Manipur Muslim Welfare Organization (MMWO), Md Rabi Khan, Advocate, Manipur High Court, Anwari Nurjahan, President, United Manipur Muslim Women’s Development Organization, Md Farid Khan, President, All Manipur Muslim Student’s Organization among others attended the ocassion as dignitaries.
While speaking during the occasion, speakers like Anwari Nurjahan, Md Rabi Khan and others highlighted the reason of the sprouting of Civil Society Organizations in the state. He further highlighted the importance of discussing on why the civil society organisation is necessary for any kinds of demands for the welfare of the people of the state.
Md Rabi opined that if the 60 MLAs collectively work sincerely for the people of their respective constituencies, then there would not need of CSOs and there would not be insurgency problem in the state.
