MLA T. Robindro extend relief materials to hailstorm-affected families in Thanga

Thanga Assembly Constituency MLA Tongbram Robindro Singh today visited several areas affected by a sudden hailstorm and heavy rain in Bishnupur district and extended relief to the impacted families.
The hailstorm, which struck parts of the district on Sunday, damaged several houses and caused hardship to residents in different localities of the Thanga Assembly Constituency.
Following the incident, MLA Tongbram Robindro Singh visited the affected villages, including Thanga Ngaram, Thanga Khunjem, Thanga Ithing Khola and Thanga Oinam, to take stock of the damage and interact with the affected families.
During the visit, the MLA provided immediate relief materials and financial assistance to the households whose houses were damaged in the storm. Families whose houses were fully or severely damaged were provided three bundles of GI sheets each along with financial assistance of Rs 10,000.
Residents of the affected areas expressed appreciation for the MLA’s prompt visit and support, stating that the relief would help them begin repairing their damaged houses.
The sudden hailstorm accompanied by heavy rain caused considerable damage to residential structures in parts of the constituency, leaving several families struggling to cope with the aftermath.
