MLA and family spend Rs. 18 lakhs to procure playfield for villagers

Imphal, Aug 29: MLA Paonam Brojen bought land and constructed playground by spending around Rs 18 lakhs at Mairenkhul in Wangjing Tentha Assembly constituency. The playground at which the MLA claimed to have bought and constructed with money from him and his family was handed over to the people today.
A grand function held on the occasion today at the ground was witness by the people of the village. 
Member of Sangaiyumpham Zilla Parishad Member Md Janab Khanna
and Ex Pradhan Md Jakir Khanna also attended as dignitaries during the handing over function of the play ground.
“I and my family had bought this portion of land and turn into play ground by spending around rupees 18 lakhs as the people of Mairen Khun have no proper playground and place for gathering”, MLA Paonam Brojen said while speaking on the occasion.
