MIYC elects new office bearers

The Manipur International Youth Centre (MIYC) has elected new office bearers to strengthen its organisational functioning and continue its work in youth empowerment, human rights and political awareness.
The newly elected leaders are M K Saroj Khan as President, Yaiphaba Khuman as Vice-President, Elangbam Praveenkumar as Secretary-General and Irabanta Kshetrimayum as Finance Secretary. Reena Thangjam has been appointed Secretary of the Women’s Cell, Hidangmayum Devdutta Sharma as Secretary for Information and Public Relations, Ngangbam Khugest as Secretary for Art and Culture, Yumlembam Shidangshu as Secretary for Organisation and Nongthombam Kanta Meitei as Secretary for Skills Development. Laimayum Bhuton Sharma has been appointed Coordinator.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to human rights advocacy, youth empowerment, political education and cultural integrity. It also released its Annual Calendar of Work for two thousand twenty six, outlining planned activities in human rights, international law, youth political education and diplomacy.
The Centre stated that it will not solicit public donations and will raise funds through its own publications and programmes.
