In a typical instance of northeast people falling in love with foreigners without checking their background, a missing Nigerian husband of a Manipuri woman is found imprisoned inside Rohini jail in New Delhi for heinous crime, according to Delhi Police.
Seeking help from the Delhi Police for Northeast People, a case was filed by one Manipuri woman on Saturday. It said that her Nigerian husband went missing since August 28, 2015. She also asked the Delhi Police to locate her foreign husband.
After investigating into the matter, representative of Delhi Police for Northeast people came to know about the identity of the missing Nigerian national and found him at the jail for committing “heinous crime, according to a source from Delhi Police.
It also revealed that Delhi Police arrested him few days back. Delhi Police has allowed the women to visit her husband at the jail.
