A minor of five years who was hit by a diesel auto yesterday, succumbed to his injury this morning at Shija Hospitals, Langol.The minor boy identified as Master Nungshiba Shah (5), s/o Asib of Sangaiyumpham Ureipokpi Mang Maya was hit by a diesel auto bearing registration number MN01Y 8894 near his residence. He was immediately evacuated to Thoubal District Hospital. However, he was later referred to Shija Hospitals as his condition worsened. He underwent an operation at Shija Hospitals. However, he succumbed to his injury at the hospital.On the other hand the driver of the auto surrendered to police personnel deployed near Y.K. College, yesterday itself.
