Ministry of Electronics and IT to avail benefit of e-Hospital for easy access to health facilities

The Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India has complemented and selected Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal along with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for interaction with the Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad with persons availing benefits of e-Hospital for easy access of health facilities. This is in recognition of successful implementation of e-Hospital and automation activities in the institute.
The interaction program is tentatively scheduled on 14th June, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and the same will be telecast live by Doordarshan National.
The Online Registration System (ORS) facility of OPD patients is available at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital (RIMS Hospital), Imphal. This facility is a part of the e-hospital program initiated by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India under Digital India program in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India.
This facility will enable the patient to book OPD Registration from the computers or mobile phone having internet facility. The patients do not need to stand long queue in the OPD counters of the hospital. There is a separate counter for OPD patients who were registered through ORS and payment can be made either by debit or credit card or cash.
