Maybe it was a part of the Visek Sampark Abhiyan,, a programme initiated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, but the coincidence is that Senior Minister of the Government of Manipur today visited at the residence of an energetic lady, born with multiple talents and the one who had received National best-supporting actress on the year 2021 honoured by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, popularly known as Leishangthem Tonthoingambi Devi, at her resident Yaiskul Hiruhanba Leikai here in Imphal.
Women’s power and their relentless sacrifices for the state of Manipur is well known. At war time they fought with just a torch in their hands, during cultivation they spare no pains in planting the crops, these women of the state have made any complaints in bearing the household chores.
Minister Th Biswajit, one of the prominent minister of the BJP led government of the government of Manipur today visited the residence of the renowned personality and discussed with her the prevailing situation in the state of Manipur as a part of the Visek Sampark Abhiyan.
During the meeting the Minister (Th Biswajit) took suggestions from Tonthoingambi on what the artists, actors or performers of the state wanted the government to do for them. They also discussed about various issues prevailing n the state and exchanged ideas to resolve the issue.
Minister Biswajit shared the story of PM Modi and other BJP national leaders to actor Tonthoi. He also highlights the achievement of BJP led Govt of Manipur in the sort period. And shared the idea of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahasov and the vision of national leaders to North East specially Manipur .
