Minister Biswajit says peoples’ positive response will win the war on Covid-19

Amidst the spike in Covid positive cases as well as the rise in Covid death reports, Manipur sees cabinet Ministers and MLAs stepping at the ground for boosting the Covid-19 vaccination drive during the 10 days of the stricter curfew imposed by the state government.
Information and Public Relations Minister, Thongam Biswajit Singh today personally visited ongoing mass vaccination sites at Thongju Assembly Constituency which started from July 13. Today is the last day of the first phase of the mass vaccination drive.
As many as 520 people were vaccinated today at the SWC Khongman Zone 4 -5 of the Khongman Gram Panchayat. Minister Biswajit while visiting the site told Imphal Times that he aims to make sure that all people who are eligible for vaccination in his constituency as well as in the state of Manipur got the vaccination.
“I appreciate the people for the positive response to the mass vaccination programme organized by the state government”, Minister Biswajit said.
He said that the way that the people of Thongju Assembly constituency response to the government initiative in fighting the Covid-19 make him confident that the people will win the war against Covid in the coming days.
He further appealed to the frontline workers such as persons from print and electronic media, doctors, and ASHA workers to encourage people for vaccination and to ensure that the people won the war against Covid-19.
