Works Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh chaired a meeting in connection with alignment for National Highway-137A (Waheng Leikai to Kakching Lamkhai and National Highway-102A (Shangshak to Tengnoupal). The meeting was held at the conference hall of the Minister’s office chamber at New Secretariat, Imphal on Saturday evening.
Seeking cooperation and support of all concerned to ensure swift and timely completion of the projects, Biswajit also said that the project will be taken up at the earliest.
The meeting was also attended by concerned MLAs including Agriculture, Tourism and Veterinary Minister who is also Wangoi AC MLA Shri O Lukhoi Singh, Hill Area Committee Chairman and Phungyar AC MLA K. Leishiyo, Deputy Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly who is also Mayang Imphal AC MLA K Robindro Singh, Hiyanglam AC MLA Y Radheshyam, Tengnoupal AC MLA D Korungthang, additional chief secretary (Works), additional chief engineer-III, PWD, Manipur among others.
