The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed to submit report of sexual harassment of women at workplace in every state and union territories within August 26 , 2014.A source said that the Home Department of Manipur also directed the Police department to send the report to the Ministry of Home Affairs through fax or e-mail. Regarding the directive of Parliamentary committee on empowerment of women to union government to collect information on cases of sexual harassment in states union territories police department registered under recently notification sexual harassment of women at workplace under prevention prohibition and redressal Act 2013.
