MFICL Vice-Chairman visited the construction site of Mega Food Park & SBI branch

With an aim to provide storing facilities to the seasonal agricultural and food products of Jiribam, a mega food park, primary processing centre (PPC) has been constructed at Jiribam District.
The Vice- President of Manipur Food Industry Corporation Ltd. K. Saratkumar Singh visited the construction site at Kadamtala, Jiribam. He said under the aegis of MFICL, the government of India provided Mega Food Park at Manipur. A primary processing centre  is being constructed at Jiribam District.
On the query of the media person, he said the PPC will have the facilities of cold storage which will be beneficial for storing seasonal foods and agricultural products of Jiribam. The warehouse is constructed with an estimated cost of 3 crores.
Thereafter, K. Saratkumar took the stock of the under construction SBI branch office at the 2nd floor of Supermarket, Jiribam. He added, the SBI branch will bring development in the banking sectors of Jiribam. He also requested SBI authority for opening ATM booths at Gularthol bazaar and Dibong, so that it will ease the transaction and withdrawal process of money to the bank customers, instead of standing in the queue of the bank.
