Imphal, April 16: The Khongjom War Memorial Pillar, constructed at the top of Kheba Ching as a part of the Mega Tourist Center and which was inaugurated by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee on April 23 last year still is not completed till today. The then Manipur government plead the President to inaugurate the Mega Tourist center even though some of the structures particularly the memorial pillar are yet to be completed.
When Imphal Times reporter visited the war memorial complex to take stock of the construction taking place the memorial pillar constructed is still under construction. It is likely that the memorial pillar may not be able to complete before April 23 this year.
