Memorandum submitted to PM over re-engagement of retired person as MD at MSPCL

Imphal, March 16: RTI activist K. Seityajit today submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of Manipur drawing his attention to the irregularities being underway at Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL). The RTI activist in his memorandum draw the attention of the Prime Minister in deputing Managers of both MSPCL and Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) as both the post are lying vacant. The memorandum also urged for timely completion of Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar (Saubhagya) in Manipur.
While urging the PM for deputing Managing Directors of both the company from suitable persons working in power sectors of CPSE, the memorandum also mentioned wrongful re-engagement of a person who had already retired on superannuation from service at MSPCL.
