Meira Paibi of Hojai observes Mother’s Day

Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Hojai District Committee, today observed Mother’s Day at Singimari in Hojai district.
The programme was held in front of a memorial dedicated to mothers and attended by several members of the organisation, including district committee president B. Padmabati Sharma and secretary Hema.
As part of the observance, floral tributes were offered at the memorial site and mothers present at the function were honoured. The programme also featured recitation of poems dedicated to mothers, with participants presenting various literary pieces highlighting the role and sacrifices of mothers in society.
Speaking on the occasion, B. Padmabati Sharma said the Mother’s Day observance, celebrated globally, was organised in the area to remind people of the dignity, sacrifices and contributions of mothers. She stressed the need to respect and care for mothers at all times and not merely on special occasions.
