Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has taken up a suo motto case regarding the suspicious death of a minor boy called Thoungamba Huininggsungbam (12 years at one private run hostel call L.J. Educare, Singjamei. The incident happened on April 1 this year. The district SP has been asked to furnish all related documents with the case within 7 days to the Commission.
