Maoist Communist Party, Manipur today warned UNNACO School, Khongman and Shishu Nistha Niketan School Kwakeithel for giving obstruction to the drive conducted by the outfit to check quality education in the state. It said the party might close down the two school from April 10 if they continue to put obstacles to the party’s mission. In a press statement the outfit said that Red Gaurd of the party has been conducting drive to CBSE schools in the state for turning the educational institution into trade zone. It also said that they have burnt some schools who are not properly functioning and has put banned to MM Higher Secondary School Wangkhei and Little Rose School Canchipur, besides closing down of other five school. It further added that 64 CBSE School in the state the party had check half the number of school and found many satisfactory . However the party is yet to find out the condition of the remaining schools affiliated to CBSE. ON the case of UNNACCO the party stated that they come to find out about the group and said that the present crisis in the school is nothing but due to greediness of the school authority. It said it will impose strict restriction to the activities of the UNACCO too.
