The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL), in collaboration with the Toubul Apunba Tengbang Lup, organised a mass awareness campaign on informed political participation and voting at Toubul Mini Bazar in Bishnupur district today.
The campaign, held under the theme “Politics: Anouba Laang-on gi Vote” (Politics: Vote for National Regeneration), sought to sensitise the public on the importance of informed participation in the electoral process.
MAYOL Chief Advisor Longjam Ratan and its president Koijam Suresh addressed the gathering, highlighting the need for greater public awareness and participation in political affairs.
Toubul Apunba Tengbang Lup president Thoudam Shyamsundar and women secretary Irungbam Bembem also spoke at the programme.
The organisers urged people to actively engage in political and electoral processes and make informed choices, asserting that responsible voting was essential for bringing about what they termed national regeneration.
