Mass Tree sapling plantation camp held at Wangbal Part -ii

A Mass tree sapling plantation camp was held at Wangbal part II , Thoubal District  on Thursday.
The event was organised by The Educational Gym Club Wangbal part II under the guidance of the Joint Coordination Committee on Wildlife and Biodiversity (JCCWB) Manipur and Thoubal District Police.
Around 200 medicinal and fruit bearing saplings   were planted at the event in and around the areas which fall under the jurisdiction of the EGC, Wangbal.  Range Forest Officer Kakching Naorem Munal Meitei, Thoubal District Police Additional SP ( ops) Sachidananda Soibam, Second OC of Thoubal Police Station Sapam Ibomcha, Sub Inspector Oinam Inaobi, Green Manipur Mission Brand Ambassador Valentina Elangbam, Secretary of Development For Women’s Programme Centre,Thoubal Wangmataba   Akoijam Nandarani and  Convenor of JCCWB Manipur Ningthoujam Romesh attended the event as  presidium members.RFO Kakching Naorem Munal meitei highlighted the benefits of tree plantation on length. JCCWB convenor Ningthoujam Romesh lauded the EGC Wangbal for organising such a camp and added that it is a good sign of our youth. DWPC Secretary Nandarani donated face masks to EGC members in connection with the event.
She promised that she would help more and would also take part at any event organised by JCCWB. It is worthy to mention that the event was organised by maintaining SOP guidelines strictly.
