Mass COVID-19 vaccination drive begins at Jiribam District

Jiribam, July 4:

Mass COVID-19 vaccination drive has begun in Jiribam District under the supervision of District Administration and Chief Medical Officer, Jiribam.
Today, the mass vaccination was administered at three different places in the District.
As per order from District immunization officer Jiribam Dr. Ng. Bembem Devi today’s mass vaccination drive was organised in Dibong Echel Club, Hilghat Community Hall and Kamranga Community hall for all categories of eligible citizens in respect of the above-mentioned areas.
The week-long mass vaccination will continue as scheduled at different places of Jiribam by a mobile medical team, added in the order of District immunization officer Jiribam.
In connection with the mass vaccination drive, the President of All Jiribam United Club Association (AJUCA), Mutum Maipaksana said to make Jiribam a Covid free district, let us take the vaccine and make together the vaccination drive successful.
He added, the only means to eradicate the deadly covid virus from across the world is vaccination. It is the responsibility of each and every citizen to come forward for vaccination so that we can prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus.
Today’s mass vaccination programme was undertaken with the support and efforts of the local club, Covid-19 task force, and security personnel.
