Maoist warns to shut down Shishu Nishtha Niketan, will safeguard for private school teachers

Proscribe armed group Maoist has warned to shut down Shishu Nishtha Niketan for oppressing its teachers in order to make monetary benefit out of their hard labour.
In a press statement, Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of the armed group said that teachers who are working in private schools are workers and they are the oppressed section of the society; Maoist as a vanguard of the working class will not tolerate with educational institutes that poses threat to the teachers’ community.
After the outfit resolved to safeguard the working community in the year 2015, the school authority had rusticated the Principal of Shishu Nishtha Niketan of Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi. After students of the institute consistently reported about incident, Maoist had investigated into the matter and the reason for the termination of Principal was regarding the exemption of school tuition fees for some months that have been affected due to mass movement for implementation of Inner Line Permit System.
It also said that since the outfit is stand for the safeguard of the working and proletariat classes, it also remain a vanguard of employees who are working in private educational institutes. In any ground the outfit will not tolerate discrimination and oppression of proletariats private school employees, who are drawing trifling amount of salary as remuneration towards their hard work and dedication.
