Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has alleged that some people have siphon off a large number of amount sanctioned by UGC for college development work.
In a release, Maoist said that two persons namely Oinam Romen of Singjamei Oinam Thingel and Part Time Lecturer, Shanta has reportedly siphoned off amount sanctioned by UGC for various developmental works.
The armed group also asked the two to admit their malpractices and surrender before the outfit.
It also said that Maoist will strictly monitor utilization of UGC funds for developmental works in colleges and universities in the state.
