Maoist Manipur supports Mao Council agitation

While appreciating the agitation called by Mao council against the encroacher of land at Dzuko Valley by Nagaland, Maoist Communist Party, Manipur today said that it will support the 24 hours general strike called by the council from midnight of May 22. In a press communiqué, the outfit said that safeguarding the territorial boundary of the state is the duty of every Manipuri. The agitation against the encroachment of the Manipur’s land at Dzuko Valley should be supported by all Manipuris. The outfit appeals to shun all  educational institutions, transport service, business transactions, Khwairamband Keithel and all form of entertainment programme during the 24 hours general strike called on May 22.
