Maoist greets RPF on Independence Demand Day

Maoist Communist Party, Manipur extended its greetings to Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) on its anniversary, Independence Demand Day, which falls on 25th February.
Comrade Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of Maoist Communist Party, Manipur, today in a press release said that the outfit is giving revolutionary salute to those who had sacrificed their lives in the battle fought in the last few decades. The role of RPF in the revolutionary movement in the state after India annexed it to its union is commendable and many significant battles have won by the outfit.  It said the anniversary of RPF reminds Bisheshwor, the leader who firmly believed in the idea that revolutionaries should be working class people in order to stand on its own. It also said that the concept makes Maoist to feet that there is closeness between RPF and Maoist. The statement “It is also clear that we are internationalists and we unite with international proletariats which comprise the majority of the world population”, which was made on 25, September, 1978 also reaffirmed that the political ideology of these two outfits is somewhat similar.
