Maoist Communist Party Manipur, in a press release today appealed to the journalists of the state to access accurate information by considering media ethics regarding the military operation which is being carried out by the security after 18 army personnel were killed by a combined group of militants at Chandel District.
It also mentioned that analysis of past incidents involving the harassing of innocent people in the name of military operation, bearing in mind some of the worst incidents like blue bird, necessitates for the state CSO and human right group to check the military operation to control human rights violation by the security personnel to civilians
