Maoist appeals to join hands

Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has appealed all to join the 11th death anniversary of late Thangjam Manorama, who was allegedly murdered mercilessly by security forces.
In a statement, Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of the banned outfit also appealed not to call any form of general strike on July 11 in order to commemorate the day.
It also condemned yesterday’s killing of a student reportedly by state security forces during a peaceful rally demanding implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the state.
