Maoist appeals media houses to resume publication

Imphal, Nov 19: Rebel group Maoist Communist Party today said that the outfit will not called general strike in view of the hardship meted out to the people of the state. It also said that the outfit will continue to boycott the Sangai festival however it would not do any action that would hurt the people of the state. On the other hand the outfit expressed strong opposition to the decision of the All Manipur Newspaper Publisher Association and Hawker Association to stop publication of newspapers. It appealed to both the organisation to revoke their decision and resume the publication of newspaper.
