Many pray for 5 Manipuri Olympiad representing India

Various organizations, individuals, and Manipur Olympic Association have prayed for the victory of the 5 Manipuri sportspersons representing India in the 32nd Tokyo Olympics.
Five sportspersons – Shanglakpam Nilakanta Sharma (Mens Hockey), Gold Medalist of the Asian Champions Trophy 2018, Sushila Chanu Pukhrambam, former Indian Hockey captain, MC Mary Kom, the RS MP and 6 times World Champion in Boxing and also Padma Shree Awardee, Sushila Likmabam , Silver Medalist in Judo in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and Saikhom Mirabai Chanu , weight lifter and Gold medalist of the 2018 CommonWealth games Gold medalist and also Padma Shri and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee.
India will be sending a 228-strong contingent (including the officials) to the Tokyo Olympics, the Indian Olympic Association president Narinder Batra had said earlier. Among these 120 are athletes (68 males and 52 females). The five Manipuri sports stars are among the Indian athletes where many expect victory.
ACOAM –Lup Kangleipak, Federation of Haomee in a separate press statement wish the players from Manipur and pray for their victories in the respective field. Manipur Olympic Association also wishes the players and pray for their victory.
