Imphal, Nov 29: Kh Dinachandra- DTO, IE, during a press meet at the Transport Department of Manipur Secretariat stated that the existing manual driving license being issued by the state transport department will become invalid after February 2017 and appealed to motorists to upgrade their manual driving licenses to smart cards to avoid inconveniences. The officer further informed the public that in case of delay in converting the same at the transport offices, the acknowledgement receipts issued by the department can be used in lieu of the driving licenses while they are being processed.
