Manohormayum Ngouba sworn in as second President of RPF

Manohormayum Ngouba has been sworn in as the second president of the proscribed outfit, the Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF).
In a statement issued by Roben Khuman, Deputy Secretary (Publicity), RPF, it was stated that Ngouba had earlier served as the Vice President of the organisation and had been functioning as the Acting President since February 10, 2023, following the demise of the outfit’s founding and first president, Irengbam Chaoren.
The statement further said that with Ngouba’s formal assumption of office as president, the organisation reaffirmed its resolve to uphold its founding principles and continue its stated commitment to the cause and aspirations of the people of Manipur and Western South Asia (WESEA).
