Global Manipur Federation Central Europe Chapter, a platform of Manipuri people living in Central Europe staged a peace march and called for solidarity at Hague in Netherland for restoration of peace in Manipur.
Turmoil in Manipur entered 117th day today. The peace march staged yesterday featured a Peace Prayer from 14:00 to 16:00 in front of the historic Peace Palace. Members of the Manipuri and Indian communities in Central Europe participated as peace ambassadors to heal their troubled homeland.
The Peace Prayer commenced with a reverent two-minute silence, followed by poignant narratives that shed light on the challenges faced by Manipur during this crisis. A collective and resounding call for peace resounded as attendees earnestly sought the restoration of normalcy for affected victims and civilians entangled in the distressing circumstances.
The event reached its zenith with a symbolic walking rally from the Peace Palace to Lange Vijverberg, signifying an unwavering commitment to champion peace across all available platforms.
