The NSS Cell of Manipur University released the first issue of its NSS Newsletter (Vol. 1, Issue 1: March–April 2026) today at the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
The newsletter was formally launched by Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Lokendra Singh during a programme presided over by Prof. Laishram Santosh Singh, Programme Coordinator of the NSS Cell. Dr. Dalip Singh, Programme Officer of NSS Unit-IV, delivered the welcome address.

The inaugural issue features articles, activity reports, and achievements of NSS units for March and April 2026, with the aim of strengthening engagement, leadership, and social responsibility among volunteers.
In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Lokendra Singh appreciated the initiative and commended the efforts of the NSS team in bringing out the publication. He expressed hope that the newsletter would encourage greater participation and excellence in NSS activities.
As part of the programme, the NSS Cell presented a traditional Lengjan Phee to the Vice-Chancellor as a token of appreciation.
