Maoist Commmunist Party Manipur has warned a gang who used to loot public money by organising Housie games in coordination with various clubs and organisations. \In a statement the outfit said that this gang will go from place to place and contact clubs or organisation and organised housie game. The prize was put in such a way to attract large number of people.
The gang provided some commission for the host club or local organisation. However the modus operandi of the gamblers’ gang is that some among them who is not known to the club members will accompanied them every where and will take part in the game by buying tickets. The dice of the Housie, the ball and the chart will be brought by them and ultimately the attracted prize will be won by their team.
This gang cheat the people and the Manipur Maoist have every record of the identity of the gang members, the statement said and added that the outfit give 7 days period to correct themselves. It further if this gang fails to follow the dictate of the outfit , then consequences occurred will be their responsibility.
