Maoist Communist Party, Manipur is going to fast on the 26th of March, 2015 showing solidarity to indefinite fasting of Comrade Aziz Elkhalfawi and Comrade Aziz Elbour, political prisoners of Morocco Maoist.
A press statement signed by Comrade Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of Maoist Communist Party, Manipur said that the cadres of New People’s Militia (NPM), the armed wing of the outfit and its Red Guards will not take lunch while the political cadres of the outfit including Central Committee members will not take both the meals of the day in support of the cause of Morocco Maoist.
The press statement added that the demands of Morocco Maoist include release of all political prisoners unconditionally, abandonment of the charges and proceedings from scratch mounted against Morocco Maoist, dropping of charges against comrades unconditionally, authorization of access for families, for students and for all those who want to visit throughout the week.
The statement further said that Manipur Maoist respects all the political prisoners of the state including RK. Meghen and Irom Chanu Sharmila.
