Manipur Maoist extends support to Kuki Black Day Observance

Imphal, Sept 12: Rebel group Maoist Communist Party has extended its support to the observance of the 13 SAHNIT-NI (Kuki Black Day) in commemoration to the deadly ethnic clashed occurred in 192-1993 at which over 900 Kuki people including women and children were slaughtered. In a press communiqué, the outfit said obstruction to the observance of the historic event by some UGs is most unfortunate. The butchering of nearly 100 Kuki people will ever be remembered to all the Kuki Patriots. The statement also said that till today justice has never been delivered to all those Kuki victim of the deadly clashed and this proves that the genocide mission was committed under the influence of the Indian regime. The Maoist statement also recalled the incident of September 13, 1993  at which 88 Kuki civilian who were on their way towards Taphou were slaughtered mercilessly.
It also appealed the people of the region to jointly fight until justice is delivered to the victims of the deadly massacre of 1992-1993.
