One day seminar cum workshop program organised by Handicrafts Service Centre, Porampat and sponsored by O/O The Development Commission (H) Ministry of Textile, Govt of Manipur was held at ICM, Lamphel, Imphal West, Manipur today.
K. Lamlee Kamei, Directorate of Handloom and Textile, Govt. Of Manipur who attended as the Chief Guest of inaugural function stated that there is a great opportunity of selling handloom and handicrafts goods in online shopping level. The Amazon Shopping app offered to the Government of Manipur that all products of Handloom and Handicrafts may sell through the Amazon Shopping app.
Yumnam Jagyasheori Devi, Asst. director ( Handicrafts) Office of D.C (H/C) , Ministry of Textile, Govt of Manipur who presided over the function stated around 50 artisans have joined this seminar. She also said that each 50 artisan should be a good entrepreneurs in future. Ch. Mani Singh , Retired Handicrafts Promotion Officer Office of (O/O) D.C ( Handicrafts) also attended as guest of honour.
