Manipur Chief Minister’s factors likely to gains BJP support in Assam’s Silchar and Lakhipur AC

With effective numbers of Manipuri voters having enrolled in the Assam, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh factor is likely to play a key role to gain Assam’s BJP.
Today the chief minister N. Biren Singh went to Shilchar and later to Lakhimpur in Assam where is had attended to public rally for the BJP candidate. Interestingly, there are a number of Manipuris enrolled in the voter list of both the assembly constituency.
N. Biren was accompanied by Education Minister S. Rajen, MLA L Rameshwor, MLA L Suchindro, and MLA N. Indrajit from Manipur.
At Assam, the Chief Minister was reported to have given a rousing welcome by the Manipuris.
At Asharalabuk Binakandi, Lakhipur area the Chief Minister and his team attended a public rally. He assured the return of BJP in Assam and also assured that with the BJP government in Manipur to continue for one more year various developmental works for the Manipuri people could be taken up.
N. Biren also lauded Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and NEDA convenor  Himanta Biswa Sarma for their concern about the indigenous people of Assam.
