Man found dead, family suspects murder

Jiribam, Jan 18 :

A  33-year-old man was found hang to death on a tree trunk on Friday morning at Lalpani, Jiribam. The deceased was identified as Joinal Uddin S/o Harun Mia of Lalpani Pt-II, Jiribam. He had returned home on 13th January 2022 from his workplace in Imphal at around 5:30pm. After having dinner on the same night, he had gone out after getting a phone call from someone and had not returned home.
As per a family member’s statement, on next day morning, his body was  found hanged to a tree nearby paddy field. 
The family claims that the death of Joinal Uddin was not a suicide, they suspected it’s a murder.
 The family members of the deceased stated that they had suspected one Moinul Haque of Lalpani, Jiribam who had threatened to deceased father around one and half month. 
 The said suspected person is absconding after the death of Joinal Uddin, stated by the family members.
 The family members of the deceased appealed to all the  CSOs and people of Jiribam for their support to find out the justice of death.
 A case has been filed at Jiribam police in this regard,the Jiribam police are working the case on different angles to find out actual facts of the death.
