Imphal, Aug 24: A person who was kidnapped by 4/5 gunmen escaped unharmed from the claws of the kidnappers. The incident happened yesterday.
Report reaching here said that a person identified as Thanglienmang s/o Satkhohao Khongsai r/o Thingkangphai under Churachandpur Police Station was picked up and kidnapped by 4 to 5 gunmen at around 11.30 pm day before yesterday. Thanglienmang after staying in the custody for a night latter managed to escape from their custody yesterday. The matter was reported to police and accordingly police had registered a case.
Reason behind the kidnapping could not be ascertains.
