A 35-year old man succumbed to his injury after the two wheeler Kinetic Honda he was driving was accidentally hit by a truck near Khongjom War cemetery in Thoubal district at around 7.30 am today. The deceased has been identified as Thounaojam Tombisana Singh (35) son of Thounaojam Maingaou Singh of Kairang Mamang Leikai, Thoubal district. The registration number of the Kinetic Honda is . MN02 7694 and the registration number of the truck is NL 05D 8529. The driver of the truck fled from the scene. The truck was detained by a police team. The dead body has been deposited at JNIMS morgue.
