Imphal, Nov 19: District Election Officer of Thoubal district has appointed Mayanglambam Rajkumar Singh, IAS, AC to DC Thoubal as the District Level Nodal Officer for implementation of the Model code of conduct (MCC) in the district with immediate effect and till the election process is completed. An order has been issued by District Election Officer of Thoubal district M Joy. The order stated MMC will come into force after the announcement of Election scheduled for the 11th State Assembly Election by the Election Commission of India.
Four other officials appointed as Model Code Officers/ Officials to assist the Nodal Officer Mayanglambam Rajkumar Singh are Dr. Md. Imran Khan, Jr. MCS, SDC (HQ)/SDO’s Office, Thoubal, N. Pritam Singh, Jrm MCS, SDC/Irong Chesaba, Kh. Indramani Singh, LDC, DC Office, Thoubal and Kongkham Onao Singh, MIS-Kakching CD-Block (Videographer).
