Losii Dikho, MLA today inaugurated Mao-Imphal market (Temporary Shed) at Kabo Leikai Nongchup, Imphal West .
Speaking at the inaugural function L. Dikho, MLA said that our state Manipur is a beautiful place where different colour and section of people are living in it peacefully by the grace of God, so even this Mao-Imphal market will not just be for business centre, rather it will built up a good relationship among the people living within the state. He also said that with the blessing from God the soil of Mao is quite fertile, we harvest lots of vegetables, flower, fruits etc. As we all know that Moa is not a big area yet it contribute a lot for our state and even gave contribution to our neighboring area like Kohima and Dimapur. Products are in much demand as the agriculture products are organic.
L. Dikho further said that instead of always asking for inputs, it is a high time to have our own production. He thanked Chief Minister for understanding, realizing and supporting the inputants of very small activity of the agriculture/horticulture sector which is very important for promoting the economy of the state as the people themselves are bringing production and it is a very positive turn for the state’s economic development.
He further said that if we love our state, instead of always demanding something to our MLAs or the state government, we need to contribute something in the society as a community otherwise we will not be a meaningful citizen.
The Inauguration function was attended by K. Robindro, MLA, Th. Kiran, Deputy Commissioner Imphal West, Ksh. Shivakanta Singh SP Imphal West, Mao Business Women Union and CSOs.
