Lions Club of Kakching Greater organized Peace Poster Contest

A Peace Poster Contest on the theme “Peace Through Service” was organized by the Lions Club of Kakching Greater at Central Public Hall, Kakching today by observing  government SOPs on COVID-19 and 14 School students participated in the contest.
On sideline of the painting competition, Lion Naorem Munal Meitei, President of Lions Club of Kakching Greater told media persons that Lions Club International is organising Peace Poster Contest since 1988-89 in order to maintain peace and tranquillity around the globe. 
Lions clubs around the globe while sponsoring such a very special art contest in schools and youth groups will surely creat peace among the people  in the world. By organizing such contest will also gives children in the world a chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through their art and creativity, Munal added.
 
Lions have provided an important reminder to the world that, through service, we can give and receive joy, kindness, hope and peace. 
N. Munal further added Lions club of Kakching greater is taking part to organize such Peace Poster Contest to maintain peace and tranquility in the world.
