With an aim to empowerment North East people residing at Delhi, the Delhi Police is organizing a 2 days-long legal awareness training on September 21-22 at the Conference Hall of Delhi Police situated at Nanakpura, New Delhi.
During the training Northeast people at Delhi would be trained in basic legal rights so that they are not taken for ride or ignorant while dealing with Police, Judiciary, Medical legal cases, Labour laws, Rent Laws, said a source from Delhi Police.
Also it would give basic training to these young 177 northeast youth before deployment for Patrolling with Delhi Police in Delhi Police Special Unit for North East Region PCR cars at areas where large number of North east people are residing like Munirka, Mahipalpur, Kotla Mubarakpur, Malviya Nagar, Khirki Extension, Sunlight Colony, Safdarjung Enclave, Janakpuri, Burari, Gandhi Vihar, Nehru Vihar, Mukherjee Nagar, Civil Line, Lajpat Nagar, Dwarka and Hauz Khas.
Faculties from AIIMS, Advocates of Delhi High Court, senior IPS officers will deliver at the training session.
