Minister Th. Biswajit today appealed the people to leave aside political differences while taking up developmental works in the state.
Speaking during the inaugural function of a newly constructed community hall at Khongman Zone-4, the cabinet Minister who is in charge of PWD, IPR, Textile, Commerce and handcraft, RD and PR , said that hindrance to taking up developmental works due to political differences at any part of the state will make the state backward.
“ People should cooperate at all capacity , leaving aside the political differences while taking up developmental works in any part of the state”, the young and dynamic Minister told. He also highlights the changes that has been witness in the state particularly in Thongju Assembly constituency where he has been representing as MLA since the coming of BJP led government in the state.
The inaugural function of the newly constructed community Hall under his local area development fund was attended by Pardhan of Khongman gram Panchayat Moirangtham ongbi Nungsirei Devi and senior citizens of the Khongman as dais members.
Emphasizing on the need for transparency while utilizing the MLA Local Area Development Fund, Minister Th Biswajit underscored the importance of checking and enquiring into the maintenance of the said fund by the public to make the Government accountable.
The Minister also recalled on the empowering of youths and said that re-iterated that “Education is the only way to fight poverty”. He said he has been and will be continuing to encourage young children to go ahead with proper education and said that he will continue to organize free coaching for students in Khongman Assembly constituency.
Th Biswajit further stated that the people groom the youth by tapping their talents and informing them that equipped sports items in the newly constructed community hall so that the youth will be free from drugs. Youth are the pillar of the nation.
Many sports infrastructures have been constructed and installed in the Thongju assembly constituency at the Local club. Some among them are gym, Indoor hall for Table tennis, badminton, and other outdoor games like hockey and football stadium for grooming youth.
Minister Th Biswajit appealed the people to register E-Shram on line scheme that covers almost all unorganised workers like construction workers, domestic workers, fisherman, and farmers. The unorganised workers registered under the E-Shram scheme will be given accidental insurance coverage under Pardhan Suraksha Bima Yajana. The workers will be paid two lakh for accidental death and permanent disability will get one lakh.
Minister further appalled to the general public that the community hall which is built is made for need base. BJP is very natural no one can break nature.
As a part of the inaugural function, cultural troops of local artists show cast Khamba Thoiba dance, Thang-ta (martial arts) and aerobic.
