Launch of Mobile App “m Anganwadi”, Anganwadi Centres Monitoring System

Neeta Arambam, IAS Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur today officially launched thenewly developed mobile app called mAnganwadi under District Governance Mobile Challenge (DGMC) and guidelines from State Informatics Officer (SIO), NIC Manipur at her office Chamber in the presence of L. Bobby, AC to DC, K.Jadumani Singh, BDO Bishnupur, and  T. Shantikumar Singh, DIO, NIC.
Explaining the app, T. Shantikumar said that The basic objective of the app is to provide complete information on AWC (AnganwadiCentre) improving service delivery and eliminating all the manual intervention. System will allow citizen to directly view the AWC details thus finding ground-level employees in an easy and fastest way. Also, citizens will able to check the ration supply from the Government and ensure target distribution to the beneficiaries thus paving a way of transparency between citizens and Government. It will help to improve governance by decentralizing planning at a micro level.
Deputy Commissioner appreciated efforts of NIC team for developing the app in a very short period.
The app can be downloaded directly from Google Play Store by searching for the name mAnganwadi
