Family members, Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System Students’ Wing and Joint Students Union of Government Higher Secondary School Students’ Union have jointly performed the Lanna Thouram of Sapam Robinhood today at Ema Khunthokhanbi Shanglen.
The programme started at around 10 am with Pena Sheishak followed by Meetei Laishon, Hindu Laishon, Kabui Laishon, Christian Laishon and Meetei-Pangal Laishon. Meetei Eshei and Lanna Thouram will be held in the afternoon after 12.05.
Thousands of well wishers and students from different parts of the state attended the Lanna Thouram of Robinhood, who was killed by state security forces on July 8. People also paid floral tribute to the photo of Robinhood, who was proclaimed as ILPS Khongjang gi Lamjing Meira.
